In the
first three months of the year the trade between Bulgaria and Turkey has
increased by 25.52% and amounted to 770. 338 million euro. After Germany and
Italy, Turkey is the third trading partner of our country. This said Deputy
Minister of Economy and Energy Krassin Dimitrov during the opening of the
Bulgarian-Turkish business forum in Sofia.
The Turkish
direct investments in Bulgaria for 2012 amount to 45.4 million euro. Among the
top priorities for our country remains the maintenance of macroeconomic
stability and expansion of investment incentives, said Deputy Minister and
added that the government is making efforts to improve the business environment
by reducing the administrative and financial burden. He reminded that Bulgaria
is the country with the lowest tax rates in the EU, and that is given a
priority to stimulate investment in high-tech sectors.
Once we
realize our new incentives for investors, we expect you to reveal in our
country the industries with high added value, high-tech centres and incubators.
With these words the Deputy Minister Dimitrov turned to the members of the
Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Antalya, who participated in
the Bulgarian-Turkish forum organized by the Bulgarian chamber of commerce and
industry.
A
submission for public discussion of the priority axes of the Operational
Program "Competitiveness and Innovation 2014-2020" is coming
soon. We are currently in discussions
with employers on how to improve the access of Bulgarian enterprises to EU funds,
said Krassin Dimitrov.
